Reoccurring Sebaceous Cyst On Labia, Swelling. Treatment?
Hi there - i had a sebaceous cyst on my labia that got infected and swollen a few months ago and my gynecologist removed it by squeezing out the head and puss. I've noticed in the past few weeks that I have a number of very small cysts on the same side of my labia and it looks like one is swelling up. Is there anyway to get rid of these for good or will they keep coming back and why do they occur I haven't had this problem in the past.
Welcome to HCM.The cyst must be removed surgically with its covering intact to reduce the chances of a recurrence.Just squeezing out the pus and the head is not adequate.Antibiotic therapy as indicted by a culture and sensitivity of the pus will help.
