hi may i ask please what does it mean ,CHEST PA VIEWSuspicious opacity and haziness are noted in the left lower lung field.Heart is not enlarged.The left costophrenic sulcus is blunted. The right hemidiaphragm and the right costo phrenic sulcus areintact.The left 5th anterior rib appears shortened relative to the right.The rest of the visualized osseous structures are unremarkable.
Hello and welcome to health care magic.. the problems you have described in your chest x ray are definitely abnormal. haziness in the lower zone with blunting of the cp angle can be due to a number of causes... Among these the commonest are fibrosis or formation of scar tissue and pleural effusion or fluid collection in the lung -chest wall cavity...both of these are usually associated with tuberculosis of the lungs...further investigation including a ct scan of the chest is advisable.. it would be advisable to consult a physician for further management bye and take care..
