Rib Graft Due To Replace Jaw Bone. Had Osteochondroma Removed With Distraction Osteogenesis, Device Failed. Recovery Time?
Yes, I will have a rib graft to replace jaw bone (upper right jaw bone). I'd had a osteochondroma removed last June, with distraction osteogenesis. However, the device failed. How long will the recovery take, and can you give me info about whether I'll be mobile. Will I need help? When do you think that I'll be able to drive? Thank you.
HI Thank for asking to HCM If you mean to say that after the orthopedic surgery, usually it takes five six weeks period for complete healing for general surgery, but here as you said you had osteochondroma removed, then it is all depend upon the the procedure and Technic applied, have nice day.
