Right Arm Pain. Taking Norontin. MRI Done. Will Epidural Help?

My MRI shows T5-6 right paracentral and lateral disc protrusion creating mild right lateralizing central spinal canal stenosis. Also, mC4-5, C5-6 and C6-7 show mild disc bulges and mild osteophytic ridgin creating mild central spinal canal stenosis.( I have previuosly had L4-5 fusion, due to stenosis.) Symptoms are sever in the right arm, radiating from T5 to my underarm to elbow to finger tips. I take Norontin at night but need to sleep in a reclining chair. Will an epidural help? I am 70 and otherwise very healthy and active.

Hi, it appears that you have a stubbern stenoses, epidurals may not help you for long term usage, as it is to be repeated several times.
Yoga and meditation may help you a lot.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and one injection every week, and pain killers when ever necessory. Thank you.
