Right Shoulder Pain, Swelling Near Chest. Done ECG, Chest X Ray. Is It An Emergency?
hello doctor,
i husband has right shoulder pain for whihc x ray was done and it was normal.shoulder pain is still there and recently had swalloen chest at right side with swallon arm.emergerncy doc had done ecg and chest x ray and blood work which came normal, but swallon chest and pain in the right arm is still there
Thanks for your health concerns. The presence of right thorax pain with visible swelling makes a heart problem as a cause significantly less likely, but I would advise to continue to seek medical attention to reach a specific diagnosis, for example rotator cuff tear, bursitis, septic arthritis, an abscess, etc; an orthopedic surgeon likely is the most qualified to assess this shoulder pain and swelling.
Hope this is useful, wish you the best health,
