Ringing Sound In The Ear, Severe Headache Half Side, Blocked Ears,spasmed Nerves. History Of Meniere S Disease And Clot In Brain. On Medication. Is Intake Of Betavert And Zapiz At Night Recommended?

Hi My mom is having Meniere and clot in her brain.She hears ringing sound in her ear have sever headache in half side and sometime feels her ear blocked..She has spasmed nerves all over her body..She is 42 years old.Doctor has advice her to take Betavert 24 twice each in morning and night and Venlar Xr 37.5 mg at 7pm and Prothiaden 75 at 8pm and zapiz 0.25 in morning and Zapiz 0.5 at night.And Shellcalos in afternoon Myospaz twice.

Can she take Betavert 24 and zapiz 0.5 at night as both seems to be sedative in nature? Can you please suggest if its not a voerdose?

hello

as you have said your mother is a case of meniere`s disease ....clot?

you do feel fullness in ear with headache

she is already taking antidepresants like prothiaden, venlar which causes sedation

again betavert causes sedation and also causes euphoria but continue it as it causes improvement in meniers disease.

i would suggest to stop zapiz in tapering way , that is slowly decreasing the zapiz dose over two weeks then on alternate days and finally stop is, as it does causes high sedation with muscle relaxant.
