Ripped Stitches Off Circumcised Penis While Removing Bandage, Unattached Skin To Penis. Help
Hey I was circumcised 7 days ago and I had to keep my penis bandaged for at least 48 hours, I did just that & when I removed it, it ripped off some of the stitches (especially the lower part of my penis where there is that natural "stitch') so now I notice that my skin is no longer attached to my penis. What should I do I'm panicking!
Hello Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone circumcision 7 days back and accidentally removed one of the stitch at the site of Frenulum. Do not worry it will heal up within a week and there is no need to get panicky as it is bound to heal up by secondary healing process. Just take care not to get it infected or injured. Apply some topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin locally. Avoid sexual activity till it heals up completely. Dr.Patil
