Round Protrusion After Installing Pacemaker Causing Discomfort. Is It Due To Transmitter?
I recently had my 2nd biotron pacemaker installed on November 19th. The site has healed well however on the lower right section there is a small but significant rounded protrusion which looks as if it could poke through the skin and is causing me discomfort. I do have a transmitter this time which sends information to my doctor. Does this protrusion have anything to do with the transmitter. Please advise. Thanks!
HI Thank for asking to HCM If your Pacemaker being implanted on the same side where you see the swelling then it has to be seen by the doctor, and if this is not the same side then nothing to worry about this, this could be some nonspecific kind of swelling and will be subsides soon take care and have nice day.
