Ruptured Ear Drum, Ear Infection, Loss Of Hearing. Cause Of Concern?
Hi. I recently went to my ENT because I have a ruptured ear drum as well as a pretty bad ear infection . He put me on orals and drops...I have completed 10 days of the drops 3x a day. I have not have any improvement in hearing (its been 11 days since i went to the ENT)...is this normal? Also, i drove XXXXX for XXXXXXXX and experienced some pain when driving through the mountains...is this normal?

hello dear
well yes my friend ear infection my take some time to heal especially when the ear drum is ruptured
continue on your medication and drops , make sure no water get inside of your ear when you take a shower (use ear plug)
also driving through the mountains well cause some pain due to atmospheric pressure chage, chewing a gum may decrease this symptoms
