Hi Scaphoid fractures are usually missed like you case. It is better to apply a splint till your results come.If there is an unstable fracture you might need a scew fixation. Scaphoid fractures are prone for complications like avascular necrosis, that is the bone part become devoid of blood supply and to be unviable. In such cases a graft is necessary. However hope for the best.give a splint and make your wrist immovable.Hope this may help you. thanks
