Second Surgery Advisable For Removing Remaining Chalazion?
Hi , I had a surgery for removal of chalazion , which was about 8x10x6 mm . The doctor had removed it, bit still some amount is left an he has prescribed another surgery for the removal of balance chalazion. The doctor prescribed certain medicines like ciplox 500 and Zinase - D. Pls advise.
Hello It seems from the history that you have undergone surgery to remove the chalazion and following surgery you have used antibiotics like ciplox and antiinflammatory drugs like zinase -D. I think there is no need for second surgery, if required you can go for injection of long acting steroids like triamcinolone as a treatment for recurring chalazion or remnants of chalazion.
Thank you
