Seizures After A Fib. Rapid Dental Decay. Reason?

Hello, On Nov 20, 1912 Ihad A-Fib, and after I was allowed to go home the next day; On the Nov 22,1912, I suffered a sizeure while sitting next to my wife on our couch I suffered a second sizeure while in the ER, and was released on morning of Thanksgiving, I went to our dentist for a cleaning andafter xrays were taken, I have rapid decay, (bacterial Disease, with 16 cavities which I ve never had a sizure until now, as well as the repid decay that I m having in my mouth - is there any reason that repid decay, be from sizures? Thank You, Jim

Thank you for posting your query.

I am amazed that you are now 100+ years old, as you had A Fib and seizures in 1912...or is it 2012?

In any case, seizures are not the cause of dental decay. Dental decay is due to the local causes and your dentist would take care of that.

For seizures, you may require evaluation & treatment, as it may be due to lack of blood flow to brain.

Please consult a neurologist.
