Seizures, Woken Up With Hurt Muscles And Bites In Mouth, Epilepsy?
I have had three seizures in two weeks. I have often woken up with really hurt muscles and bites in my mouth . I m having an EEG tomorrow. Do you think I have epilepsy?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. You had seizures, 3 times in 2 weeks. It does not mean that you have epilepsy. The reasons for the convulsions may be the epilepsy, hypertension, worms in the brain or tuberculosis. I advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have E.E.G, and C.T.scan for diagnosis. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
Hi, You have seizure disorder which probably could be Epilepsy but only be diagnosed after proper history (as you gave incomplete history ) , examination and reports . As you are going EEG so u must be under Neurophyscian guidance. There are plenty of conditions which causes Seizure disorder and upon treatment of cause it is cured . Even if its epilepsy you just need to take medication at proper time regularly without fail and after 5 year of seizure free period drug can be tappered n later stopped . So just follow advise of neurophyscian and be in his regular follow up.
Thanks n regards
