Seman Analysis Report, Sperm Fine, Ph Level High. How To Lower Ph Level
hello my husband had a seman anylisis done and the rults showed that his sperm was fine but his ph levels were high what does this mean and how do we lower the ph levels

Thanks for your query,The Ph of semen of your husband is high .You have not specified the value of Ph
.
Normal value of Ph of semen is from 7.2 -7.8 .Any value above 8 is due to infection either in seminal vesicle or prostate .
He needs to take broad spectrum antibiotics like Augmentin or Doxycycline for four weeks.and repeat the semen analysis after completion of course of antibiotics.
