Semen Analysis Done. What Doe The Report Indicate?
Dear Dr., I have recently done a Semen analysis and below are the result, Kindly confirm whether the results suggests anything negative towards Fertility and advice on further actions to be taken, .... thanks. SEMEN ANALYSIS REPORT: ======================= Volume: 2ML Reaction: ALKALINE Color: OPAQUE Viscosity: NORMAL Liquification Time : 1 Hour Sperm Count: 30 Millions/ml Actively Motile Sperm: 30% Sluggish Sperm: 10% Dead Sperms: 60% Pus Cells: 1-2hpf Normal Sperms: 95% Abnormal Sperms:05% Pin Head: 02% Swollen Neck:03%

Sperm count is normal
pH and colour are normal
Sperm activity is low (Normal motility is more than 50%)
Morphology of sperms is normal
Your semen analysis is within normal limits, however the motility of sperms is less than optimal, so I advice to go for a repeat semen analysis before commenting anything as all other parameters are within normal limit.
