Seven Years Ago I Had The Birmingham Hip Replacement Done

Seven years ago I had the Birmingham Hip Replacement done on my left hip. Everything went fine except my cobalt and titanium levels were elevated but still within the acceptable range. I haven't had my blood levels checked in a couple of years for metals but in the last 2 months I experiencing some numbness in my left foot. I just wondering if the metal ions are possibly causing my numbness? I haven't had chance to talk to my Orthopedic Doctor but I have a booked appointment with him in May/16. What do you recommend I should do? Thanking you advance.
