Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

You need to have a dorsal support for a fractured D11 vertebra and a soft cervical collar for your neck.

Use of intermittant muscle relaxants will help in alleviating the muscle spasm and thereby reducing the pain.

Moist heat fomentation over the painful areas will relax the underlying muscles. Gentle massaging of the painful areas with a painkiller gel will ease up the pain.

Gradual stretching and strengthening exercises of the involved areas will regain the normal muscle strength thereby providing good soft tissue balance and eliminates the pain.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
