Severe Back Pain, Muscle Spasms. Taking Pain Killers. Suggest Alternate For Pain Killers?

I have in the past couple of years been debilated by easily "throwing my back out" doing simple things like brushing my teeth, bending over to pick up trash, or just stepping out of a truck that sits a little high. The pain is extreme with what I think are muscle spasms. What can I do besides pain killers to alleviate this problem?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The back pain that you have could be due to muscle spasms due to abnormal posture or degenerative disc disease. In addition to muscle relaxants, regular physiotherapy and hot fomentation will be helpful.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Praveen-Tayal
