Severe Cold, Chest Congestion, Sneezing, High Fever. On Tritofen Syrup. Sufficient?

hello Dr. my son is 18 months old.. He got severe cold, chest congestion and fever.... My neighbor Di r told me to give Tritofen Syrup to give 0ne year. if i give this syrup to my son what type of side effects he will face the future.. then how to resolve this problem and everymonth he is having this problem.. first he started sneezing and he got cold and then high fever also pls give some suggestion.....

I can understand your concern.

Your son needs to be investigated after a complete physical examination. There could be various causes for his cough and fever. Recurrent cough could be because of various causes like bronchial asthma, tuberculosis, etc etc.

So please get him examined by a paediatrician before further step is taken.
