Severe Hair Loss. Trichoscan Done. How To Increase Hair Density And Growth?

i have severe hair loss from past 2 years. now recently a week ago i have done a trichoscan and these are the results. Analysed area: 1.05cm2 haircount:194.5 hair density(1/cm2):184.7 anagen hairs(%):27.6 telogen hairs(%):72.4 vellus hair dens[1/cm2]: 3.8 Terminal hair density[1/cm2]:180.9 vellus hairs: 4.0(2.1%) terminal hairs 190.5(97.9%) can you please explain my condition. And kindly tell me how to increase my hair density. Suggest me vitamin tablets to get hair density and fast growth Thankx Ganesh M YYYY@YYYY

Going by the results you have posted should be measured against your previous hair profile and your ethnic & familial traits. I am telling you the interpretation of this study with regards to average indian ratios... It would be best to co-relate the results with clinical findings.
Your average hair density is 184.7 as against average of 200/cm2 but still with in normal range of 170-220/cm2. However your anagen/telogen ratio is 27.6/72.4 (roughly 1:2.6) which indicates acute hair loss. Velus hair percentage is with in normal range.

This kind of study with supporting clinical data would represent telogen effluvium. Since you are suffering from last two years, I would diagnose you as a case of chronic telogen effluvium. The cause of your chronic telogen effluvium and the treatment can not be decided based upon this study.
