Severe Headache. Everything Normal Says Neurologist, Opthalmologist, Cyropractor. What Could It Be?

Hello I have a question about my mom she has a severe headache on the left side of her head and neck she has ben to the doctor a neurologist and the cyropractor the neurologist has done a mri a spinal tap or puncture a scan of the blood vessels in her head and a eye doctor has looked at the back of the left eye every thing is normal so they say they gave her some kind of shot in the back of her neck that worked for a coupl days but now its back that could it be

Headaches are the specialty primarily of a neurologist. The neurologist need to ascertain whether the headache you are experiencing is a primary or secondary headache. Primary headaches could include migraines, tension and cluster headaches. Secondary headaches usually could be meningitis, tumors, brain abscess or other degeneratve diseases. Spinal taps and CT scans are usually needed in this case. A careful clinical review by your neurologist and examination should be sufficient in making a clear distinction and making a diagnosis.
