Hello,

Genital herpes is transmitted only through sexual contact. It can be ruled out in your case if you didn't have any sexual contact. Oral herpes is transmitted through direct contact with infected secretions or mucous membranes/skin with lesions from an asymptomatic or symptomatic patients shedding the virus. But the symptoms in your case doesn't suggest herpes. You can wait for some more time for the symptoms to disappear. Take care
