Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to HCM

Xanex or Klonopin are benzodiazepine drugs and they have nothing to do with relief in pain. They don't have any analgesic action. The drugs are usually prescribed for temporary relief of insomnia or anxiety in cases of trauma. You are taking these drugs for many years and you have become dependent on these drugs, I would advise you to stop taking these drugs and consult a Psychiatrist for opinion.

Thanks
