Severe Pain And Tenderness In Left Armpit, Tingly And Numb Finger, Pain In Upper Chest, Shoulder, Swollen Glands In Throat. No Lumps. Help
i have severe pain in my left armpit downthe inside of my arm to my elbow sometimes to my hand, my fingers are tingly and one finger is numb, the pain also goes into my upper left chest and i also have pain in my upper left back shoulder blade area. No lumps felf in armpits but very tender, no lumps in left breast, neck area on both sides of throat have swollen glands. the pain is very unbearable especially when i sit up and my arms dangle. heat seems to help but after heat very painful again
Your features suggest towards cervical disc prolapse.you didn't mentioned your age. Any way, In cervical degenerative changes nerves can be involved. First you need X-ray of cervical spine in AP and Lateral view. MRI scan of cervical spine can also be done as it shows exact nerve involvement. Treatment includes physiotherapy and surgical. Swollen glands in both sides of neck may be due to infective etiology.certainly there are many other reasons. you need proper evaluation.
