Severe Pain In Head. Taken Narcotics No Remedy. Solution For The Pain?
Hi my name is norma aguayo im 24 years old but i have a problem that i get really bad shoking pain in my head n i go to he doctor n they say i dont have nothing the have done ct scans, mri and they say im perfectly fine vut this shoking pain in my head doesnt go away and sometimes the pain its just thereand it holds me alot of getting my day thru .....im just tired of tge doctor just giving me norcotics that the pain dont go away all the norcotic so its sleep me and getting unable to talk and not express that i still have pain i dont want meds no more all i want its the the lain to go away ive been having this for so many years and i cant stand it no more i also take cold bathe ,put cold and warm pads in my head and it helps but still no enought please suggest me something thank u anything my e mail its YYYY@YYYY

The good thing all reports are normal (CT scan ,MRI ) as mentioned above.
It seems to be a Chronic daily Headache ( as been having since many years).
Common causes ( As all reports mentioned as Normal ) of Chronic Headache could be:
1)Chronic Migraine
2)Tension Headache
3)Hemicrania continua headaches - are daily and continuous with no pain-free periods
Investigation : Ct scan,MRI and EEG - are advised to diagnose brain tumors, injury or inflammation and if theses are done & normal in your case & found to be normal , then it is good that underlying diseases are ruled out.
When no underlying diseases or conditions are present, treatment focuses on preventing the pain before it starts.
If you're taking pain relievers more than three days a week, the first step in treatment may be to stop using these drugs( as painkillers have adverse reaction like causing liver failure & consult a Neurologist for further prescription.
Preventive Therapy is best way to treat Chronic Headaches which are through
Meanwhile try Alternative therapy like Meditation,Acupuncture ,massage
