Severe Pain In Right Groin Area, Pain In Right Leg, Occasional Tightening Of Stomach. Any Ideas?
For the past two months I have had severe pain i right groin area. Also occasional tightening of stomach. Sometimes my right leg will ache but very rarely. Mostly the pain in localized to my right groin area. Ultrasound test had normal results. DR. thinks maybe hernia but no lump. I am a 27 year old mom of three and this is interfering with my day life.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain in the right groin and leg can be due to a pathology of the hip joint or a nerve root compression at the level of lumbar spine. Intra abdominal pathology also needs to be ruled out after an ultrasound scan. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
