Severe Pain, On And Off Fever, Bad Bruising On Legs And Arms, No Drop In Hcg Levels. History Of Surgical Abortion Followed By Less Bleeding. Normal?

I had an abortion last week and had a severe reaction to the misprostol. since last week my hcg levels havent dropped at all and the doctor i saw didnt seem to listen to me when i told him how bad my pains are. i havent bled much at all, which suprises me as i was 14 weeks pregnant. Since the surgical abortion i have developed worse pains, temperatures on and off and bad bruising allover my legs and arms and hips. is this normal?

Thanks for your query.
If you did not bleed following your abortion, then chacnes of retained tissue are high.
You need to have a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound to know if this is the case.
Pains, fever and bruising are not normal following a surgical abortion.
