Severe Pressure In Eye After A Sinus Infection. Infection Was Result Of An Injury. What Is Causing This?
I had a nose injury about two months ago from an upward blow which caused swelling and bleeding, yet an xray that night as well as a CT scan showed no break. I suffered a drip for a few weeks that went away and a follow up Dr. said that my septum was deviated. The last few weeks I have had severe sinus pressure between and right above my eyes and finally have developed a sinus infection. Although I have had sinus infections before, I have never had my right eye become bloodshot and have severe pressure in the interior side of the eye as well as the right side of my nose. Could this be a problem which has developed due to the injury?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. It is very clear that symptoms might be due to injury and as if it is a sinus infection if you were my patient I will prescribe you amoxiclav bd for 3 days to treat infection. As it is a prescription drug you need to consult your treating doctor for this. Thank you.
