Hi, thanks for writing to HCM. It looks from the description to me that your father is suffering from some form of chronic illness. Generally patients with chronic illnesses develop some amount of depression over a period of time and shows no interest in anything including intake of food.
One of the most commonly reported adverse effect of NEXITO (Escitalopram) is decreased appetite. And the drug RIVOTRIL (Clonazepam) also produces anorexia (decreased appetite) in some patients. So it a double impact for your father.
I suggest you to consult your treating doctor and discuss the same.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
