Severe Reflux, Heartburn, Pain In Ribs, Discomfort. CT Scan Showed Lesions In Liver. Detected Hemangioma. Symptoms Due To Hemangioma?
Hi. I recently had a CT scan which showed lesions on my liver in the Left Lobe area. I then had an MRI w and wo contrast. My doctor called and said it's a hemangioma and I should follow-up with another MRI in 6 months. My problem is that I have been suffering and doctoring with severe reflux, heartburn, pain in the middle to left top of my ribs. I have distention and discomfort. Can a hemangioma cause symptoms?
Thanks for using HCM.The hemangioma seen in the liver usually causes no symptoms.Very large haemangiomas may cause liver enlargement, pain in the right side of the abdomen and rarely nausea and vomiting. The GERD and oesophagitis needs to be treated with PPI drugs, prokinetics drugs and Sucralfate to relieve the symptoms.
