Severe Sore Throat, Coughing, Ear Pain, Difficulty Swallowing. Taking Cough Syrup. Cure?
hi, i am having severe soare throat from last 3 weeks. I am taking medicine +antibiotics and cough syrup but it getting worse . it really getting bad during night time, not able to sleep because of contionous coughing. but the mucus is not coming out, also having earache started from last 3-4 days n difficult in swallowing . could you please help on this?

its good you are taking medication .. but u should even take mucolyte or expectorants to relieve ur mucus ..and moreover as its already 3 wks u should also go fofr investigations like sputum test for AFB ,and blood tests and x-ray to rule out other lung diseases..
and earache and difficulty swallowing will be mostly due to blocked EUstachian tube ..take warm water with salt gargling and drink warm milk or water frequently to get relieved of ur earache .. it takes time for that .. or u can even consult ent doc as he wil explain u further process..
anyways better go for investigations ,..
