Severe Stress, Unable To Breath. EKG Shows Myocardial Damage. Gave Breathing Treatment, Steroid Shot. Was It Panic Attack?
I have had a lot of gonna say severe stress at home. The most was a possible divorce and finding out someone else is involved. Anyway, today I woke up fine. Went to work and got to my office and I couldn't get my breath. Nothing happened at work. I was feeling good. By the time I got out to my car, I couldn't hardly breathe. I thought It may have been an anxiety attack or allergies. Left work to go to an urgent care facility. They gave me an ekg that came back saying that consider myocardial damage. My vitals and oxygen were normal. Any where from my rib cage front and back ached to my head. No numbness anywhere. Just a heaviness. They gave me a breathing treatment and a steroid shot and an enhaler for when I need it. I am considered really obese, but because to the stress now I am not eating, but the weight lingers. And just diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knees. I am a mess, but what is inferior myocardial damage? Urgent care thought it could be a very mild heart attack or a severe panic attack. Your thoughts please.
Hi, As you are obese and having some changes of myocardial damage in EKG, requires evaluation of your case. Consult cardiologist and get examined and go for further investigations like cardiac enzymes, angiography, and lipid profile and blood sugar which ever advised by your cardiologist. Avoid stress. Reduce your weight. Ok and take care.
