Severe Sunburn On Face, Had Excessive Oozing After Scraping The Yellowish Gunk On Cheek. What Could It Be?
i just got back from vacation yesterday and had pretty bad sunburn on my face just recently i noticed this yellow weird hardly noticible gunk that was on my chin i thought it was just gunk left from my face wash but i was trying to scrape it off and it wasn t budging untill it popped and oozed alot...alot of liquid and now its gone what was it?

The yellow coloured substance on your skin was a scab, as the sunburn you described appears to be 2nd degree superficial burn. These burns usually heal spontaneously without much scarring.The care you should take in this case is to keep the face clean by washing with tap water and applying an antibiotic cream like Neosporin, 2 to 3 times a day.
