Severe Vomiting, Diarrhea, High Heart Beat On Vomiting. Was Vomiting Causing The High Pulse Rate?
I became ill yesterday with vomiting and diarrhea several times in the afternoon. I noticed every time I vomited my heart rate would increase. It was very scary and was afraid because it felt like it was going to beat out of my chest . I haven t vomited in many years. So I was wondering if the vomiting was causing the increased heart rate. Please advise. Thank you.
While vomiting due to loss of fluid and the retching , the heart rate increases. Due to exhaustion from vomiting, you tend to concentrate on your hart beat and feel scared.
Stop worrying about it and take plenty of fluids and ORS required. Taking Zofer tablet shall help in stopping vomitings.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
Take care
