Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain and swelling in the knee that you have noticed is likely to be due to an injury to the internal structures of the knee. An MRI scan will help in detecting the extent of injury.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
