The medical history shall also be very important in the evaluation of this pain. An abdominal ultrasound might be needed in some cases, and coupled with a good clinical examination are a few blood exams should be sufficient to give a good diagnosis. This case could also be acute gastritis, gall bladder inflammation, appendicitis, functional colopathy or many other possibilities. The headache evaluated shall depend on whether it is a primary or secondary headache and depending on specific symptoms, a clear cut diagnosis could be made.
