Shortness Of Breath, Wheezing. Taking Z-pack. Have Smoking Addiction. Worried

I am having shortness of breath heart beating fast I can't get breath in it seems. I also smoke but have cut back on smoking. I went to my Dr and she just gave me a z pack bc she heard wheezing. I am 27 years old. Should I go to the hospital? My ekg was normal the last time I went. I just don't feel right. I am also tired all the time and have been coughing up little clear balls of mucus.

Your symptoms suggest that you could be suffering from asthma. It could also be COPD since you are a smoker. It`s better that you go to a hospital where you may be examined in detail and put through some necessary tests and can be advised treatmenrt accordingly.
