My mother is 74 and for the past few months she has been receiving a B-12 shot once a month by her doctor. After researching my mother’s medical history, it seems she has repeatedly had a bad reaction within 5 to 7 days after receiving the injection, such as: headache, joints and muscle pain, nausea, chest pain, trimmers, doesn t want to get out of bed & over all feeling yucky. There have been some months that she has been treated in the ER for the pain. She received her monthly shot last Thursday and yesterday starting feeling really bad again. Her doctor’s office is closed today due to the weather. Is there anything we can do to counter act this injection?
