Should Eliquis Be Stopped While Suffering From A Bleeding Wound?
My husband is on elequis , plavix, and Asa .81 mgms . He fell 4 days ago and is still bleeding from scrapes . CT normal . We think he should stop elequis My daughters are both nurses. E YYYY@YYYY daughter took him to ER today no injury besides scrapes and bleeding in eye

If the bleeding is active then yes, you have to stop the drug under your doctor guidance.No antidote for it so need to be stopped then the clotting may recover 1-2 days.
