Should Encorate Chrono Be Continued Even After Epilepsy Symptoms Vanish?
i am taking encorate chrono 500 for my epilepsy treatment its was coming very rarely and i was taking the medicine regularly i stoped in the middle when it was stoped coming the symtoms is starring one can you tell me i have to continue taking this tab regularly even if i am not getting any symtems
Hi Eshwar thank you for sharing with us I read your query and understand your concern Teorically speaking when patient is without symptoms for 3 years and EEG i normal treatment can be stoped In any other situation treatment should be continued Anyway now that you have stoped treatment i would reccomend to schedule an EEG If it is normal dont start treatment but be careful , if symptoms are back you should absolutely begin treatment You should avoid caffein and energy drinks Hope you will find my answer helpful Best regards Dr Eris Ranxha Neurologist
