Should I Be Concerned About A Brachial Cleft Cyst In My Child And What Is The Treatment?
My Daughter was taken to the emergency room today for a lump on her neck. There is no pain associated with this. Test were done and they found that she has a brachial cleft cyst. They said that this was not life threatning but sugguest to have further test done like an MIR. How can I treat this until we get to her doctor?
Hi Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day
Non infected Branchial cyst is not an emergency. The definitive treatment is Surgical excision. There is no cause for concern. MRI is only for delineating the swelling and knowing the extent In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
