Should I Be Concerned About Bleeding After Having Cytotec Tablets?
i take cytotec 5tabs and 2tabs vaginally. i bleed after 4 - 5hrs and then it stop after 2hrs . i take again 5tabs of cytotec orally then i bleed after 3-4hrs. after 12 hrs the bleeding stop. what is happening/ is this normal or i should take again another?
You have not mentioned the weeks or months of pregnancy. In the early weeks of pregnancy, cytotec alone may be sufficient. But in the later weeks, antiprogestins like mifepristone should be started first and 24 to 48 hours later cytotec should be started.
The bleeding will start 24 to 48 hours later.Nausea ,vomiting, abdominal cramps and vaginal bleeding may be experienced.
I would suggest you to visit your doctor inorder to get clinically examined and determine whether additional dose of cytotec is required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
