Should I Be Concerned About Overall Body Sickness, Headache A Week After Hurting Neck While Snowboarding?

I hurt my neck snowboarding this past weekend. It has now been 5 days and I have been feeling sick all week. But more sick in regards to feeling extremely tired and having a constant headache. Should I be concerned? Or is it just a case of whiplash? Thanks.

Hi,

It is normal to have headaches and feeling sick after hurting neck while snowboarding. I highly suggest to get an X-ray of the neck and ct-scan of head to exclude possible hematoma or blood clots.

I advise to take otc pain killers and discuss with your doctor for any stronger pain killer.

Wish fast recovery!
