Hi,

The more accurate answer might have possible if you have mentioned your age, history of any medical comorbidities and drug history, etc.

Anyhow, according to your history, the possible causes of your problem are:

-If you are in the perimenopausal age group, there is a possibility of hormonal fluctuation leading to the problem.

-Local causes like cervical erosion, polyps, etc. and rarely cervical cancers may recur.

-Uterine causes like fibroids, endometrial polyps etc.

If the bleeding is not heavy and not disturbing your day to day activities, you can meet your doctor at the date of your appointment.

Get examined, go for pap smear and ultrasound, with this work-up the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
