Should I Be Concerned For The Lump In The Arm Pit, Ultrasound Showing No Malignancy And Was Diagnosed As Not Being A Lymph Node?

Hi
I'm a 35 year female quite skinny, with a lump in the left axilary armpit. This has been there for over two years.i had a ultrasound last year that showed no malignancy, and as they said normal. I never got an explanation of what it could be. The radiologist said a mammogram was not necessary. He said it wasn't a lymph node, but I have my fears and now a year letter I got a appt for mammo and diagnostic testing. If lump is the same shoukd I be concerned? I'm scared to death, abd wish I would have gotten more answers before. I found the lump after my baby was 1 month old.

Hi, I have read your query and according to your diagnostic test report this is neither a lump and nor a lymphnode so in my view you are suffering from third breast ,most commanlly this occurs after delivery during nursing baby.According to me you should not worry & be relax. This is a normal physiological phenomena.
