Should I Be Concerned For Toddler Getting Viral Fever Frequently?
I have an 18 month old for the last 4 months he has been getting really high fevers in the 102 to 104 range we have been told every time it s viral but it has happened again and his fever is spiking it goes 101 to 104 then back down. We are very concerned what could be causing this
hi is it just fever or fever with chills and shivering. if it is with shivering, i would like to rule out urinary tract infection and malaria. i would advice you to get a perepheral blood smear investigation and urine rotinue investigation done at the time of fever to rule these out. if these come negative no need to worry, most probably it is viral and toddlers are prone to these infections. hope it helps
