Should I Be Worried About A Dog's Bite?

Yesterday, on new years eve I got bit ny my friends dog. He is always a nice do but something scared me and he went and bit my leg. The're is no open skin but he left me with a bruise b7t my friend assures me he has all his vaccines. Should I be worried and go to the hospital or I am I ok.

hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern. My suggestion is to visit your GP and if your friend says that his dog was vaccinated, try to get the vaccination history of his dog. Your GP will estimate if you need rabies vaccination. You will get protection against tetanus and he will examine your wound and if necesser ordinate you antibiotics.
