Should I Be Worried About Common Cold, Dry Cough And Tingling In Tongue?
I've had the common cold for about a week and have been coughing a very dry cough, my tongue feels tingly and sometimes I have to stop to catch my breath. I am not taking any medication and would like to know if I have something other than the common cold.

As you describe, you have common cold since a week, it may be allergic or viral, it may get super infected with the bacteria, and may spread to cause the sinusitis and the infection of the internal ear.
The cause of the dry cough may be the swelling of the uvula,and surrounding tissues.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythromycin, phenylefrine, citrizine, dextrometharfan, and diclofenac .
Avoid taking fruits juices, ice cream, ice water etc.
