Should I Be Worried About Cough, Post Nasal Drip, Sores On Tongue And Discoloration?
I was around a cat for two days in a row (I am allergic) and developed my usual stuffy nose and trouble breathing (because I have severe asthma) and now it's been two days since my encounter and I have a cough, post nasal drip, and sores on back sides of my tongue, along with discoloration on my tongue and it looks like it might have peeled or is patchy. I thought it might be Strep but I have no bumps on my tonsils and not a horrible sore throat. I also get ear infections very often and this encounter on my tongue is something new. Should I be worried that it might be more than irritation from post nasal drip? And do you have any idea what it could be?
