Should I Be Worried With Cold, Watery Eyes, Headaches And Bumps On Back Of Throat?

Hi! I have a cold right now. The symptoms are cold and watery eyes. I also have an occasional headache. I noticed that I have red bumps on the back wall of my throat however, my throat does not hurt. Is this something I should be concerned about?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
H, thank you for posting.

I read your query very carefully and I understand your concerns.
From what you refer I can say that your symptoms are caused by a respiratory route virus.
This condition will last for 2-3 days.
In these cases I recommend antalgezic medicines, vitamin treatment, use of fluids and bed rest.

If this condition will last for more than 3 days, then you suffer from infection complication.
If this happens you need the following tests to diagnose the disease:
1. Liver function test.
2. Blood test.
3. Urine test.
4. Pulmonary X-ray.

Contact your pulmonologist.

I hope this information will help you.

I wish you a fast and healthy recovery.
Dr. Behar.
